Just caught this on the Ohio DNR site... WOW!

Rexdeer.jpg

You can read the rest of the story HERE..

This deer was taken by Mike Rex in Athens County.

This is either his 7th or 8th qualifying (140")buck for the Buckeye Big Buck Club.

It is believed this one will net over 200

He always seems to do very well just about every season.

If I actually saw something like that walking through the woods while hunting, I'd hyperventilate and fall out of my tree stand.

That's one sweet buck!

Ohio has had some nice bucks recently. One taken with a crossbow on Nov 10,2004 was scored as a typical at 201 points, also the Beatty Buck and the famous Hole in the Horn buck years ago. Some say this is due to no rifle season and the shotgun season after the rut. I tried to post this before with no apparent successs so hopefully this is not a duplicated post.
