Spoke to Hornady this morning. The redesigned SST will not be available for at least 2 months. Bummer. I was hoping to shoot it in some cold weather.

Andy at Hawk however will have their .40 offerings available next week. They are not listed on the web site yet, but he will accept pre orders from anyone interested. Tell him Mike sent ya

I was hopin the hornady would get here a little sooner also. Anybody know what this bullet [hawk] looks like?, or how its made,bonded. BC ?, ECT.

I'm a little disappointed but still glad Hornady is working on it. Until then I have a bunch of the "old" ones. Maybe when the new ones come out the "old" ones will go on clearance? One can only hope... but know that realistically it won't happen.

I bought some Hawk 235gr .40 cal SEVERAL years ago..I never got 'em to shoot...

What gr./cal bullets are they gonna be offering?
