I picked up a 54 Cal Jonathan Browning Mountian Rifle several years ago at a pawn shot for 200 bucks. The only issue is that it had no sights on it at all. I believe that both front and rear are 3/8” dovetail slots.
I have been able to get a set of make shift stuff that I had laying around to be able to hunt with it this year. But they are marginal at best. The front sight is stainless and almost impossible to find. But when I do find it man this rifle flat out shoots patched roundballs
So I’m looking for advice on what sights to run. I can’t find any of the original Browning sights anywhere. Have looked at several on line sights but to be honest it’s a little confusing
