Well no one else responded so I will. I HAVE experience using Simmons higher powered scopes, the 6-20X44 44MAG to be exact. The scope came across as a very good one for the money. I think I paid around $100.00 and it was well worth it. I'm not familiar with the Simmons model you mentioned. I feel like one has to be careful purchasing Simmons scopes.. I you want to buy one and use it long enough to get your money out of it...fine. But if you EVER want to sell it...you're going to take a beating. Simmons has a long history of coming out with new models only to d/c them in short order. When they are d/ced the price is usually half what they originally sold for. For a $100.00 scope...FINE..for a $200.00 scope...You'd do better looking at something else, IMO...
