The extreme already exists, it's the invention of the centerfire cartridge.
I understand why the inlines are there.
Sidelocks are just too hard to clean and load!  :(
Ok, I don't get it. Why does a stainless traditional sidelock even exist?

And if they are truly serving a purpose and solved a problem wouldn't everyone be making them?

Heck, I can't even stand the look of a silver scope .. unless it's on a stainless pistol. I like stainless pistols .. but not sidelocks.  :barf:

White Oak
All right! Because no one else will I'll say it. They're ugly. :lol!:

I'll take a bit extra cleaning for a blued barrel. SS looks like crap!

To each their own, and I won't criticize what one chooses to shoot but, stainless is just ugly to me on a traditional style rifle. :D

Yep traditional rifles must be blue or brown with wood stocks and steel furniture.

You guys seem to forget that a lot of traditional rifles came in the white.  They looked a lot like stainless.

Not for long, they don't. They get a patina (surface rust) in a very short time. The longer you have one the more they age.

As I've read many times, stainless should be called "stains less" because it is not corrosion proof.
