Strawberry moon rise....

Called a strawberry moon because its full while strawberries are in season, this one tonight is something else and way redder than last night's actual full moon. Smoke from western states' wildfires is giving the moon extra red tonight. Absolutely beautiful from here in the city. It would have to be something in the country.

Great photo! Where and when do you take that pic? I didn't hear about a red moon event these days

I'm in SE Minnesota and was on our deck at 10:35PM when I took the picture. I should have used a different camera so I could have enlarged the moon without having it blur.
