I have an ULA Model 20 Muzzleloader. I love the gun and its very accurate with an optic.
I would like to add some iron sights to it for hunting in areas that do not allow optics. The gun has Talley bases and I bought one of the Talley rear aperture sights to use on the rear base.
My question is, has anyone done something similar? What front sight did you use? How did you attach it to the barrel?
Right now I am looking at a NECG banded style front sight with interchangeable blades. I think I should be able to get the correct height with some trial and error.
Any help would be appreciated.
