Wasn't going to Deer hunt this year but found a more comfortable Chair to set in. Went out Saturday evening , sat where two Lanes come together. Seen a Doe but couldn't get a shot. Then a Spike was coming up through the brush, I took the shot with my Crossbow. Found the Bolt, no Blood, it was Gut shot so I went home.
Sunday morning went out at daylight. Couldn't find any sign. Knew he went down hill. Really tight brush down there. Made my way through it. Came to a ditch, thought maybe he laid down in it, so was walking along it looking, looked back up the hill seen him. The Coyotes had ate on his head but he was still in good shape.
