Nice animal for sure. A 200 yard shot is starting to reach out there for a ML.

This bull was 248 yards One shot. The bullet started out at 458 grains. I held for a shoulder spine shot. Dropped him in his tracks. The bullet was found under the hide on the off side.

It should shoot well with just about any 250-300 grain bullet and 90-100 grains of T7. I would look at an XTP for a cheap bullet. I thought the stocks on those were wood painted black, but I could be wrong.
 
On mine, as it peeled, a little, over the years its a composite wood, almost looked like presswood, with some type of "popcorn" paint on top. I ended just painting it black again and it turned out fine.
