Dec. 2015 issue of American Rifleman has a 1 page (p.96) writeup on the Whitworth Rifle used in the War of Northern Aggression.
I've never shot/owned an Enfield, but I have shot a few original Whitworth Target rifles, so I found it interesting that he states:
1) the .577 Enfield was equal to the W out to 500yds. Hard to believe, I wonder if he read this somewhere?
2) the swivel head bore scraper! - Spin jag?
3) the value of $6500 seems low.
