Pulled our memory card out behind the house today before our afternoon sit. Got this guy on camera. Was showing a couple friends tonight and a couple of them think it’s a wolf. Where we live in MN it very well could be either one. What do you think?

I'm going with coyote based and the grass around the critter and a wolf would be leggier and its ears would be more pointed. I see wolves in the cabin yard occasionally and see them while driving quite often while at the cabin. Wolves are tall, long creatures, way more so than the animal you have in the pic.

I agree with MrTom though I’m certainly not an expert. I would say it’s a big coyote. A guy at work was just showing me a wolf they had on their land up north of Wadena and it was much leggier and longer face.

I am leaning Coyote also. The second pic I can maybe see wolf but the first and 3rd look like a coyote.

Maybe this is finally the winter I take up predator hunting and see if I can’t get him in the crosshairs to be sure.
