Sounds like someone wants to buy that property and discrimination. I would go to the next meeting even with an attorney. They are telling you what to do on your property for your own personal use. Apparently the ordinance is for commercial use not personal use. They are over stepping their bondaries. I would challenge them to show you the PA law.

It sounds like he might be able to put a ‘camp’ on the property, then it might not be a range. Like bronko said, look at the actual law, but a judge is still going to have to decide it. Ive donated to his gofundme. We all should help him out, his vids are great.

I believe I read that Mike said the property is restricted against having a dwelling or cabin. I don’t remember the exact wording. About all he can do with it is the range.

Yeah thats what he said but it sounds like camping or hunting is allowed. So dig a fire pit and park a crappy popup camper or a tent by it. No permanent structures, just a campsite. He might have to put in and take out the steel targets every time he goes there, too. Try to find any loopholes in the law, if its for real.

Thats why we all are contributing to his legal fund. Pricey specialist legal beagles!

Just donated, Mike's a good guy ,been enjoying his videos for years. I tell new shooters to watch him for accurate loading information. There is so much misinformation out there . Someone buys thier first ML and all of a sudden they are an expert giving advice on utube.
Please donate if possible this type of harassment needs to be stopped.

It's an attempt to silence the education on historic firearms and thier rightful place in our nation's history. More of the change the history change the future agenda.
Would be fun to establish a Mike Belivue shooting complex in that township.

My neighbor owns 20 acres fronting a highway. He got some pastor certificate on the internet, stacked up a couple of rock cairns which he called an alter, mows a small patch around it, and declared it a "church" - no building required. In fact, part of his churches mission is to commune with God's Creation/Nature. County & state cannot now collect property taxes and he is exempt from most other county regs as well....perhaps activities could include firearms practice for the pastor...just saying

Just donated; sounds like a good cause. If you've never read CJ Box you should read his series about an unassuming Wyoming Game Warden, Joe Pickett. The series is best read in order (23 total), but number #13 in the series called "Breaking Point" is especially good in light of this post...

I don't know CJ Box or have any financial connection with him or anyone associated with him; just love a good mystery series with tough guys (the tough guy in this series is not Joe). IMHO - for outdoorsmen, this series ranks above Jack Reacher or Joe Pike.

Hope this post is within forum rules. Thx

They made the book series into a great TV series...It streams on Paramount +

I live a stones throw from where he's at. The area is generally shooter friendly. Someone must have made a complaint. It only takes one. The township will get what they want one way or the other. Drowning him in attorney fees is one of those ways. He needs to name this guy and give out his contact info so that folks can let him know their positions on this. I'd try that first.

That zoning guy and others like him are little boys with a badge. I would take the advice from the attorneys but careful not to run up expenses. I would run the Church idea past the attorneys. I would also consult the neighbors and see if something could be worked out. Good luck keep us posted.
