Shot whitetail doe from 52 yards frontal shoot.
Bullet broke front shoulder (broken bone is visible on the first picture), broke one rib (pix 2) , tore hurt apart and shredded lungs, passed through the deer lengthwise and logged in the back leg (pix 3) . Recovered bullet retained almost 100% of it?s weight. Some of the petals did not open after hitting the bone.

Chuck,

They are definitely 5/8 oz=273 gr. I believe they are .45 Caliber.
