Anyone see the TV show "Boonies"?
I just caught the first couple minutes of the show last night. The mountain man was turkey hunting. He was sitting by a tree making some yelps with his turkey call. What got my interest was he is using a nice looking flintlock full stock (presumably) smoothbore. As the camera angle changed so you could see the muzzle end of his rifle you could plainly see he still had his wood barrel plug (or tompion) sticking out the end of the barrel. I was thinking if he shoots at a turkey this might be his last episode.
