There's not much to say. I only saw him for less than a minute. He came charging in with a doe on the 2nd morning of season at 8 AM. I put the gun up, looked through the scope and put the gun back down. I didn't think he was that big. He turned his head and that's when I saw his other side. I put the gun back up (Encore - 240gr 44cal XTP - 130gr 777) and as he stepped into a small shooting lane 75 yards away, I let the hammer fall. After the smoke cleared, he had disappeared. I checked my shot and he was laying about 10 ft from where I pulled the trigger.

11 point (13 with 2 broken tines)

To bad about the 2 broken tines...I guess those Ill. deer like to fight.

Great deer non the less.
