born on date of a gun?

i have a MZ- Thompson Center renagade 50 cal,from around the late 80's
ser# L4733 so how can i find out when it was really made?

The numbers are low. And the L means it was not a kit gun. They normally have a K as their letter. But to get the exact year, your best bet would be to contact Thompson Center and even then, they might not give you an exact year.
