Can you ship BP Revolvers?

Can you ship BP Revolvers out to a repair shop, and are there any restrictions or declarations you need to make when doing so? What’s the best option for an individual to ship them, or does it require an FFL dealer to ship them?

Depends on where you're at. I think there are about 4 or 5 states that require an ffl. Might want to check with your local state regulators. Most people ship USPS. No declaration is required. Just box it up good and ship it.

You should be good. Ive done business with a person in Virginia a few times. When you package it up. Protect the muzzle good. Ive seen a few with the barrel sticking out of the box. It doesn't matter how many Fragile stickers you put on it, they are going to throw this stuff around.

You can probably get a cheap case or at least a zippering gun rug for cheap at a lgs or pawn shop or even walmart

Every gun Ive shipped has been in a padded soft case or cheap hard case ...

I had a member on here send me a CA optima V2 pistol with no FFL. Also had a LHR Redemption sent direct to me without FFL
