I decided to do some spaghetti sauce yesterday and everything I used came from the garden. The roma tomatoes of course, and onion, garlic and the herb blend. I used just a touch of honey to cut the tartness after getting things pureed, otherwise everything came from the garden.
Its a process to get from raw stuff to tomato sauce but worth the time. The pictures show the pot just as the goodies were heating up. Three hours later, the other picture shows what the finished sauce looks like. The finished sauce is seedless and way smoother than the picture shows. Ragu never tasted this good.
