Got a bit lucky

I missed put on another .36 cal Seneca today on an online auction but was able to snatch a .45 cal barrel for my Seneca for only $210!

Hopefully the bore is good! Auction guns are always a toss up.

Got the .45 barrel today and it is in very good condition. I would venture to say its in as new condition. Can't wait to try it out. It will make for a neat little combo rifle. The .45 for deer in the morning and evening and squirrels during mid day.
I have a variety of bullets to try.

I will. I think I'll take it out next week. I dont think I'll get out this weekend. Besides if I go in the morning during the week I usually have the range to myself. One of the benefits of being retired!

Good deal I got one in the same condition a couple years ago like new. Unfortunately, I can't get it to shoot right as it is consistently High with the existing sights. I would like to replace the front sight with a taller one but haven't gotten it done yet. Keep the 32 Barrel on my Seneca most of the time.

I do believe whenever I get to shoot this its going to be with round balls.
I traded a gentleman my .490 mold for his .440 mold even up.
