Hornady SST 12ga group...

Just an update, I shot the Hornady SST's again this weekend when I was at the range. I was primarily shooting other guns but decided to shoot one 3 shot group with the SST's.

Gun...Savage 210
Scope...Leupold VX-II 2-7x33 shotgun
Range...100yds
Shell...Hornady SST

Group...2.6"

I should note that the 1st shot was taken from a cold, clean barrel. This is the shot that opened the group up. The second and third shots were only 1" apart. In order to be fair I really should have taken a "fouling" shot first, then shot a 3 shot group from the fouled barrel for testing purposes.

I shot up all I had, but this should give you an idea...

I took a buck at 137 yards last year with the SST's out of my TarHunt. They are accurate but pricey, the deer shot through the chest went about 35 yards or so as I recall.

I don't spend much on shells during hunting but practicing gets expensive.
