I like Poe's writing a lot. I've been to his home & burial place in Baltimore Md. He considered himself a " Va gentleman, but his fam roots were in Balt Md since the late 1700's.

When I was in high school I always loved reading Poe. What a mind. I also like the poet Rudyard Kipling. Poe's The Pit and the Pendulum was a favorite of mine.
