Well, I went home and had dinner and then I had the kids go back and help me drag him!

At 15 yds, you just have to take them in self-defense.

New Ultra Light Arms.
To my knowledge no longer making muzzleloaders. Mine will have to be pried from my cold dead hands. I can’t say enough good things about Mr Forbes and his product, any good thing you read about him is an understatement.
Regarding loads I’ve had some oddities. It doesn’t matter what I put in it with a .452 XTP it is an absolute tack driving hammer.
That’s 185gr- 250 gr and a 6 gr window of 2 powders.
So I should just stop there and leave well enough alone, and I guess in a way I have because that’s I what I have stuffed in it.
I tried Barnes all copper, and I could not find a sabot that anyone but Hercules could get in the barrel.
I then tried .458 325gr FTX and could not get near the accuracy of the XTP and had some other chrono issues.
I also found out that cheap bulk .452 diameter bullets are not the same as the XTP.
