knight bolt retension pin

does anyone know if there is an upgrade to the bolt retension pin for a knight mountanier 50 cal? i seemed to have lost the outside part of the pin. i had to take it all apart just to get the bolt out. i know i can buy a new one from knight just wondering if someone out there has anything better. i have always wanted a knight muzzleloader but so far im not impressed. i have had bestill rework my bp so that now works properly he did a great job highly recommend it. now i have this issue, any insight would be greatly appreciated thanks

I don’t know of any upgrades. Yours is the first I’ve heard of going bad. I’d get a replacement from Knight, or maybe Bestill has some. Good luck.

thanks just ordered a couple. came in from hunting and the outside part of pin was missing. didnt expect that
