why the hell i try to fix anything!

i spent an hour and half working on my abu garcia fishing rod only to get it together and find out that the screw that holds the handle on is stripped out internally and so when your reeling in, the handle falls off :lol!: Normally i'd take a reel like this off at the lake and throw it as far as i could, but this sucker cost me birthday money many years ago and thats the only thing holding me back.

Guess its time to shoot an email to the company and see if i can buy a replacement.

Told ya from the beginning, I think that fly fishing is too much work :lol!:

lol oh no my fly rod is ok, its my castspinner thats messing up on me. I shot them an email with a list of the parts i needed. Should be interesting to see how much washers cost for this thing lol.

Hawg, I've been trying for 58 years to get a fly to bit my hook, oh well. :p
Put a rotten piece of meat on your hook. You'll catch all the flies you want.
