Give the expense, you only get 10 oz per bottle ( what IS up with THAT?!) and my fondness for modest loads, is there a minimum recommended load?
My Omega is superb with my go to load. A 250 grain XTP in a Crush Rib over 70 grains of 3f Swiss. Right around an inch for 3 at 100.
70 grains of BH 209 is 49 grains by weight. I rounded it up to 50 for convenience. My 3 rounders at 100 with the same 250/ crush rib, are around 2 1/2 inches. Adequate? Of course. But with Holy Black thrashing it...
I'm going to fiddle a bit, but has anyone noticed lower charges ( generally) giving lesser accuracy? I've grown fond of the 250 XTP at 1575 - 1600 fps. Its removed the will to live from 13 deer. So far.
My purpose in buying the Omega was to be able to shoot any powder, save smokeless, and scrounged 209 primers should caps be unavailable.

You may find that even with a 250 grain pill the gun will do better with a heftier charge of the 209 powder....100 to 110 grains by volume or 70 to 77 by weight. A minimum load may not develop the pressures that the bullets respond to with 209 powder and heavier loads.
