Mold ID

Can anyone Identify this mold?
The only markings on it are the number 948.
It is a .54 cal. by my measurements.
Not sure but I believe it is a steel mold, Not aluminum

Im pretty sure that Lyman made all the molds that TC sold under their name.

I had both molds in 54 and there was a slight difference in them. I preferred the Lyman for accuracy.

looks like a cast iron mold and Lyman would be my guess

I believe its an aluminum mold by looking closely at the marks on the mold from eht sprue plate. I had this exact mold in 50 cal. Put a magnet to it to see if it sticks or not??

pretty sure TC, looks like TC handles that came with a roundballl mold I had.

Itis a Lyman mold with Lyman single cavity handles

Yes I opt Lyman, LEE uses aluminum RCBS also uses steel I had an old lyman .451 similar of design. I sold mine off I prefer the LEE aluminum that is a personal choice though.
