his camera instead of his muzzleloader..... he shot a very nice 8 pt last year so he's decided to pass on bucks unless it is better than last years buck. I probably would of taken this buck.

Sounds like you have a good boy there, some just shoot'em to shoot'em. I'm in the northern zone of NY and we don't have antler restrictions although I and many others take it upon ourselves to let smaller ones go. Not saying that was a small one as we don't see many that are allowed to grow around here and that would be a good one one to get.
