charcoal lighter fluid is a TERRIBLE thing to do to food !!!

what are y'alls thoughts on equal parts rubbing alcohol , peroxide and murphy's oil soap ? (on ML's not food)
or ..... how about a nylon scrubby pad and/or comet ?

If we’re still talking about cleaning the trigger, then, ‘heck no’!
For the rest of the gun, i wouldnt go near it with comet. Im not sure about the Murphys or peroxide. I use alcohol to clean the bore sometimes.

I sprayed/flushed out the trigger on my old neglected left loaded for 10 years before i got it optima with remoil . It seemed to function fine but took about half a dozen flushings before the recoil was clear .

Just know that zippo leaves the slightest of lubricant.

That make sense. They dont want a lot of lube in the really good triggers. will get some and use it on my next cleanings. I normally use brake parts cleaner and then a little bit of the Rem Oil spray or just the Gun Scrubber aerosol.
