Sprue issues

I use an old Lee scrapper. I forget what it is called (sr moment) but it works for that .

Bronko220002 NOOOOOOO.....most mold manufactures do not recommend any lube on their molds other than the guide pins and the sprue pivot screw. And then they normally recommend beeswax.
I used none as I was pouring ladle from a 4 pound open pot I would melt 1/4 teaspoon of lard on the lead. As I got a 20 pound bottom pour pot For Christmas I am Going to have to reevaluate.

Been shooting this mold for a year now with excellent results. Of course once I got my powder charge and wad combination correct. Now I am doing the same thing with my Brooks New Postel bullet.
