So the cougar and the elite use the same barrel as the original Hawken 50 cal?

Just looking because I found a cougar stock and would love to finish one myself.

The TC Cougar I have is converted into a flintlock. I like it better than the percussion. One heck of a squirrel gun.

I have to admit, I had never known of this couger style hawken until last week. I was in the middle of nowhere KY at a gun store when I saw it. The .45 caliber barrel has never had a shot through it and was in mint condition entirely. I paid $150 even for it. The shop said it was a consignment, and I also got a .50 caliber barrel with it.
