i just sold my remington ml. bolt action .50 cal. because i was fed up with the hazzel of cleaning it ..i clean my muzzel loader after each shot ..so now i got a break open ,i will use T7 powder and .260 gr. dead center .i live in northern canada ,and hunt caribou ,moose ,deer and bear's ..

How does the 260grn shoot. I assume you mean the 45/50 not the 40/50?
I shot a few Deer with the 40/50 260grn Dead Center in the Savage.

YES 45/50 I FIND THE DEAD CENTER VERY ACCURATE IN 260GR. A LOT BETTER THAN THE POWER BELT 295GR.
