For an agriculture teacher spring break is a great time of the year...planting, fishing, turkey hunting, and taking a very much needed break from the job. I was able to hunt four days had one major mess up on a hunt that cost me a bird Sunday but was able to kill Saturday, Monday, and Tuesday. Heaviest weight bird was 26 lbs a real whopper, best bearded bird was a double beard, and biggest spurs were little over an inch...most important thing...had a great time...birds worked...spent lots of great time with a friend and got it all on video...will go back and try for turkey 4 sometime in the next week or so...until then maybe a little fishing and spend some time with the love of my life.
