Quite Expensive at $1600.00 I can't see what justifies such a high price It's still a Knight a Mountaineer or long range hunter will probably do everything the Peregrine will do
The sizing die (included) isn’t cheap. Probably a $170 item.
Get the Whitworth and shoot it for a decade , while they work the bugs out of the latest bang stik ! /EdWell, I want one, but I'm torn between it and the Whitworth I've wanted for decades. Dammit!
Got a call from their engineer today, looks like it’s now in the market.
Carbon fiber stock, gun weighs 7.2#
MSRP $1569
Sorry, I didn’t ask about your specific question.
Within our conversation he stated 3000 fps was with a 225gr.
I am getting 1600fps with a 425gr conical over 52grW BH209 - lol

No , knight used to include it in the advertised price, now they add it at check out. no way around itFederal excise tax $174.00 is this something new? been a long time since I bought new
Knight wont reply to requests on their FB page about load data. They did mention using Fury and Hornady bullets. The only 40 sabotless/BH209 data that looks like it might be legit is for the Paramount Pro or HTR that TB shot. 150gr by volume and a 225gr PB ELR gave him 2710fps.Don't see 3000 fps , sorry , or is it smokeless

Consider this, in the 40cal Encores with a 1" barrel guys are not getting 3000fps with smokeless. You probably could with enough barrel length and a slow enough powder. Loads like that are more common for full 1.2ish" shank guns. These Encore barrels are about a grand using a HIS/ASG type LRMP primer module.
The weight claim of the Peregrine leads me to think its not larger than 1" and a light contour. Much lighter barrel than what is being used on the Paramount. Since the Paramount is loosely based on a Rem700 it could easily be 1.2" or slightly larger and its not getting 3000fps using the Variflame. So how is a 209 rifle getting it?
