Wow! I picked up about a 1000 a few years ago for $30. How times have changed. What brand did they have? I've been looking for Winchester Magnum for several years, and can't find any.

I see a couple tins of the Win Mag #11s occasionally. They're always a lot more expensive so i always pass. May grab them up next time and try to get them to you.

Good luck finding any brand of #11 caps. I've been out since last year and have had no luck finding any brand of cap.

I've heard about them, all positive. Do they have stuff for inlines, 209's Blackpowder substitutes, or just traditional gear?

Got mine from Back creek gun shop in winchester Virginia. Really nice older people, would definitely buy from them again ....
I've called them for the past 3 weeks and she just now told me they haven't had any this year and no idea when they will get any #11 caps from any manufacturer. It's like trying to buy center fire primers.. You just can get them.

Just came from the Academy store, went by the muzzleloader stuff. There was one can of CCI #11 caps at $9.99. There were no 209 muzzleloader caps but the price tag read $14.99.

Yep, they doubled the prices.

A while ago I wrote abt. the cap maker and not much interest developed. I have used it for a year now and while no caps were to be had I was still shooting. I have found alum. pans from the dollar store cut in strips AND doubled over make nice solid caps. I have left the primeall behind and use paper roll caps, a universal leather punch Pliers cuts the cap snug enough to hold in the cap. 4 paper caps in each give a strong spark , I also have crushed small quantities of 3f to fine powder and put a paper cap on top works well also and cheaper than the primeall. A very small drop of hair spray waterproofs them. If you get alum. roof flashing it will make a very stiff cap for putting on a revolver nipple, mine have'nt dropped off yet, very stiff. By the way, a small used pistol primer soldered onto a wire level with the crushed powder puts a nice measure for a charge before the paper cap.
