In the manual, they suggest not using excessive force while making caps. It seems that aluminum from Coca-Cola cans is just very soft compared to plastic - look at how accurately it makes holes. I would not try to cut copper or brass sheets with this tool.

Interesting, but I tend to agree with bluefishjim. I’m not sure how long the plastic would last punching through aluminum cans. Please let us know how they do. Thx!
