Me too, scored 242 out of 250 on the range at Parris Island with M14. Dream to shoot.Never fired the Garand. I fired expert with its cousin the M14/308 and i loved it.

I had one just like yours, black but it was a 2 door post. Seems to me that the '57 Chevy is the classic of classics!! I kick myself for selling that car very often.
