With hunter numbers dropping the way they are, I can see the DNR extending late seasons for firearms to all zones. The ML regulations change in zone three is just another reason in a long list of reasons I've quit hunting.

I never cared about hunting in rain, sleet or snow & some wind when I was younger & once I could afford good hunting gear - gortex/ scentlock clothes & good boots. I didn't get cold or wet anymore. But in my older yrs, I've turned into a sissy fair weather only hunter & half the time, I hunt from the couch in the fam rm or off the back porch these days.
so much for 1 shot, 1 kill.
Wooooo that ain't no hunting weather is it. Especially treestand hunting.

One foul weather I'll hunt is a rainy day. Perhaps the deer know most hunters don't walk-about in the rain.
I believe the worse weather can be good hunting. Deer dont see hunters on foul days like they do on nice days. If I can hunt I go. No matter the weather.
