Good shoot'n!

Bob, have you tried the Fury at longer ranges? I've had so many commitments I was lucky to shoot one time on my home range. Tomorrow will be a good day, but I have to mow everything because company is coming for a few days. How the heck did we manage when we worked for a living? LOL

The Fury's are definitely good. I did a lot of testing of Dennis's bullets when he first started making them for muzzle loading. On the other hand, their BC is not up to what Kyle Pittman's AeroMax bullets are and that relates to long(er) range accuracy being a bit better. Dennis indicated that he was not particularly interested in the "very" long range crowd but more in the "meat and potatoes" normal range hunters. Fury offers a bonded core where Kyle offers a choice of hard or soft lead core on his AeroMax. Accuracy and BC wise, I put Kyle's AccuMax pretty close to Dennis's "tipped" star tip. At 300 yards, with a 300 gr. AeroMax and the same load and scope setting, it will impact about 1 1/2" higher than the tipped Fury and AccuMax. As the range gets longer, this becomes more pronounced! And, I shoot a lot of both bullets!

That’s Interesting Rich . I have been wanting to do a side by side comparison. Fury vs Pittman at longer ranges .

Nice shooting Bob . That gun is a real keeper .
