I just been using grease on the threads. No leakage there. Backing it out helps. I still get a tiny bit of blowby on some at the primer, on followup shots but its not effecting accuracy that I can tell. Its a very minor amount.

I was able to test hunting deer this past weekend with the Paramount. I'm using 140 grains volume BH209 and the ELR bullet. 209 primer not variflame. Paramount with the ELR bullet is a keeper.

I'm using the 209 plug and 209 primers. The variflame is out. Way better and just as accurate. Plus simply throw away when done. It's a no brainer.

It's a known issue. The replacement variflame primer installer they send will fix the issue. Also I have switched to the 209 primer breech plug and have over 100 shots through with no malfunctions and it's not leaking using federal 209 primers. That's another option that alleviates using the...

No change that I can see. They are consistent. I never had a misfire and they are still just as accurate. I wish it came with the 209 plug from the factory.

I'm glad your experience is good with the powerbelt ELR. I bought an extra pack, but have yet to even try one with the powder I have, I want to wait to get that blackhorn, plus these are a bit cheaper and they shoot really accurate at 100 yards at least.
