    Processing

Gland is not between cuts and is removed. I do not have a bandsaw, I use a sawsall to make the cut down the spine and a regular carpenters handsaw for the rest of the bone cuts. I have been cleaning deer this way for 50 plus years without a problem just getting a little slower as I get older...

    Processing

I process my own and butcher it just like you would a beef steer. I do not cut meat off bones except for lower legs. All my chops and roasts have bones intact. I do not understand why people butcher deer any different than a beef or hog.

    TICKS :(

Some people who spend a lot of time in the woods develop a immunity to chiggers known in my neck of the woods as red bugs. My father was immune to chiggers and I have spoke to several foresters and loggers that had developed an immunity to them. Sure wish that was true for me.

    Tumbler media preference

Go to a pet supply store and in the lizard section get the walnut shells they use for litter. Cheap and very effective. Add about a tablespoon of liquid car polish and use your vibratory tumbler. I have used it for years.

    Bulged 209 Primers

This picture certainly indicates much more than .003 to .005 compression on the oring. Something is amiss right here.
