Got it fixed yet? If not, check the bolt/trigger spring first. Then the sears on hammer and trigger. Sometimes the spring is weak on the trigger side. Sometimes it can be bent without breaking.
Other than that, not much else.
 
Well good, I didn't think of that. I've had to do that before. But I was replacing a broken one. But you didn't state if you had already shot it before. Ive also seen where a hammer spring was installed and it wouldn't let the hammer come all the way back.
Yep, its a good learning experience.
