.45 Omega Twist

Is there anyway to tell the twist of a .45 Omega by the serial number? I have one and can't find any markings to indicate twist rate.

I have an S45xx serial and a 1:20” twist. I think its one of the latest 1:20s, maybe?

Best way is to make ramrod with a tight fitting jag/patch with a swivel handle and an index marked shaft, and slowly push it thru the bore, measure the travel for one full revolution. It’ll either be close to 20” or close to 28”.

The serial number is S2247 I tried the patch on the ramrod with a swivel handle. It appears to be 1:20 twist. Am I correct in the thought that these were good shooting barrels?

They are all good shooting barrels, the 1:20 guns are popular with the big lead crowd.
