I haven’t shot this one in over five years, so it’s time to let it go. It can be yours for $250 (shipping included).

The pictures pretty much tell the story with respect to condition. The Metrics Unlimited bare primer hex head breech plug is a vast improvement over the original NEF screwdriver slot plug that requires primer carriers. The targets show the various loads I’ve tried in the gun when I played around with it. I’ve never shot it with anything but GOEX powder. So you get to try other powders yourself.

I remember when you got it, I sure love my NEF.
Guys they dont make these any more, myself and busta have one and they are shooters. Compared to some newer ones today that need this mod and that mod to shoot BH this is already set up with a metrics unlimited plug. Someone buy this so I dont have to please!

I would but I haven't worn my first one out yet. Literally, same rifle & breech plug. Anyone interested, on a calm day mine can give me 3 holes touching at 200 yards with 250 gr. SSTs in Harvester Crush Rib sabots, 77 grains by weight of BH209 and a CCI 209M. The only difference between mine & Semisane's is in the choice of optics. The world poo-pooed this rifle 20 years ago because of its abysmal carrier priming system, but Metrics, Unltd. cured that ill for $35 a copy last time I bought one. The barrel itself, on mine at least, is just absolutely fantastic.
