With my Knight Peregrine
Went out today to do some accuracy testing with my new
Accurate Molds 40-290SG
I cast the boolits out of Isotope alloy and powder coated them
the range was 100 yards and the velocity at this point is unknown
I was using Blackhorn 209 and started with 100 gr./70w and shot 110 gr./77w
and then went to 130 gr./91w
the boolits look like this
and the first group is above the paper
I was shooting at the top left bull
that was 70 Gr/W
next is 77 Gr/W
I did shoot a 130 Gr/charge but that opened up to unacceptable size
so apparently this alloy is fine with 110gr/77W of Blackhorn 209
The alloy is ,guessing here, about 12 BHN its very similar to old fashioned wheel weights
