Hello to all,
My name is Jay and I've been hunting with a muzzleloader for approximately 7 years. Graduated from a Hawkins open sights to presently an inline TC Encore 50cal. with an Omega BDC. Public land hunting and enjoying the experience with a great friend and my son and son-in-law. Looking forward to discussing muzzleloading and learning from the experience represented by the members of this forum.

Welcome aboard jay! What loads are you shooting through your Encore?

The load I'm shooting is 150gr Triple 7 and 270 gr powerbelt platinum. I've seen some posts questioning the powerbelt though I've encountered no issues. Good accuracy to 250yds. Perhaps my biggest complaint is that the powerbelt stays together so well that it routinely passes clean through on lung and heart shots, not much expansion. I'm always looking for improved performance especially in accuracy/repeatabililty. Thus any insights on how to search the forum efficiently is appreciated.
