Just keep staying positive like you have so far. You are in our prayers.
As we get older, it seems like there is a new pain every day, but God made us tough.
I'm sure everything will be fine.
You might want to get an eye patch, it worked well for Dean Martin in the son's of Katie Elder.
Keep your powder dry,

Good luck and I hope you get very good results today. I understand your sense of humor and where you’re coming from. I take injections in my left eye for diabetic retinopathy that causes aneurysms on the center of the back of the eye. They burst open & fill the eye with blood and eventually cause loss of eyesight. On top of that I’m battling horrific cataracts especially in my left eye. At best it’s like looking through oil all of the time. No corrective lens helps at all. I am on my third medication for the injections and we’ve gotten to a point where this is probably as good as it’s going to get. It’s been a week since I got my last shot and this one has caused me absolute misery. Between the feeling of a hot knife slicing through Mayeye, the fact that I couldn’t even open my eye for 24 hours after the injection, coupled with all of the face swelling and bruising and feeling like somebody had hit me with a club in that eye.

My retina specialist really just doesn’t give a hang about the Cataracs all he cares about are the retina‘s. Fortunately I’ve got an ophthalmologist who is going to remove the Cataracs in December if all goes well but then again that’s only the front side….the big problem is the rear of the eye

If it continues to get worse or if I stopped injections the likelihood is I would lose vision in that eye at some point but as you said at least it’s my left eye.

Once again good luck, saying prayers for you. Take care of yourself

Greg
