We shot 3 matches on Saturday [300-500-600] in 90 degree temps. It was hot! Only got to shoot one match on Sunday at 600 yards. The 500 and 300 yard matches were cancelled due to rain.
The target is a facimile of the one I shot at 300 yards on Saturday. I shoot in iron sight class [master]. The rifle is a Shiloh sharps 40-70 SS, Green mountain barrel, 14 1/2 twist, 440 grain hoch bullet, 1 1/2 Swiss powder, large pistol primers, one damp patch between shots. Our next match is at Cadillac Mi. on Sept 3-4. Three 600 yards on Saturday, Three 500 yards on Sunday, set-up and practice on Friday. X
