Biggest slug from a Savage

What is the biggest bullet any of youse guys have ever blasted out of the end of your Savage? I personally have never shot over a 300 grain bullet out of any of mine and really don't intend too but I was just interested for curiosity's sake I guess. I have heard of one guy who has shot 500 grainers :shock: Anyway I think it is interesting none the less.

300grn is the biggest for me.

I have shot 400gr. ontop of 777 and they shot very well. (Hunter280man's bullets)

Other than that, 375 SSB's and 2015 have shot very well for some too.

I have some 350gr. .458 Hornady round nose I am going to try out for the fun of it- A bit much for deer :shock: - deciding on the powder/charge is the harder decision- I would like to give the slower vv133 a chance :idea: - but may go to H322 or 2015.... -Getonit-
