I am about to try to sell my CVA Optima V2, so I can buy an Accura MR. I shoot Blackhorn 209 and so I have a Blackhorn friendly breech plug in it. Unluckily I have misplaced the plug that came with the rifle. I have a spare so selling the rifle with that plug is not a problem for me but I don‘t want to put the buyer in a bad position if their powder preference is something else. Will the Blackhorn plug shoot other loose powder or pellets safely? I would appreciate some advice.

It'll work just fine for any loose powder on the market but I've heard mixed opinions on how well it works with pellets.

The flash hole is very big,. I would worry about pellets getting damaged.

Good point. I ended up selling it and, after buying an Accura MR, mailed him to plug that came with the MR. it won’t look very pretty on a stainless barrel but he’ll have no problems with pellets.
