anyone try the 200 .452?

Wouldn't that be close to a round ball with a plastic tip?

The 325 gr .458" bullets also look very promising. May be my new elk setup.

Doohan, I used to hunt with a .430 200 gn XTP, shot great with 80 to 85 gn/v of Pyro Select out of a Knight Wolverine ( was using #11 primers too). I opt for the "behind the front shoulder" approach to shot placement. Killed several deer with this bullet, some were dumped and some ran off. The ones that ran left very scarce blood trails and when found, there was usually not an exit. With the more modern ignitions, blackpowders subs and resulting velocities, Im not sure what might happen.
